Dr. Nilay Ranjan

Dr. Nilay Ranjan currently serves as the Head of Sustainability and CSR at Air India Limited, having assumed this role in September 2024. Previously, Dr. Ranjan was the Head of Education at Reliance Foundation from February 2023 to August 2024, and the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability at Vodafone Idea Limited from September 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing a grant portfolio for over 24 non-profit organizations and developing comprehensive ESG frameworks. Earlier experience includes roles at Idea Cellular Ltd, UNDP as a Rural Development and Convergence Expert, and involvement in knowledge management and policy formulation in various capacities. Dr. Ranjan holds a PhD in International Relations and Affairs from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya and has completed executive education at the Indian School of Business.
