Pekka Marjola has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Pekka began their career at Nokia in 1995, where they worked in various technical roles involving software development and system administration. Pekka then joined Nixu Oy as a Senior Technical Consultant in 1999 before moving to Oplayo Oy in 2001, where they served as both a Project Manager and the Head of Technical Product Management. In 2005, Pekka joined Widian Oy as a Project Manager before transitioning to Nokia in the same year, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Project Manager and Program Manager. In 2014, Pekka worked at Microsoft as a Senior Manager in Software Engineering before joining Westside Imports as a Business Development Manager later that year. Pekka then joined Airbus / Secure Land Communications in 2015 and held positions as Field Support Manager and Head of E2E Testing and Field Support. Throughout their career, Pekka has managed software development teams, led projects, and provided technical support on a global scale.

Pekka Marjola holds an M.Sc(Tech) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Aalto University, which was obtained in 1999. In 2013, they pursued a second master's degree in International Management & Strategy from Hanken School of Economics, finishing in 2015. Pekka also has several additional certifications in Agile methodologies, program management, Scrum, and ITIL.
