David Lee is a seasoned professional in the aviation industry with extensive experience in economic and market research, revenue management, and strategic planning. Currently serving as Managing Director of Economic & Market Research at Airlines for America since December 2003, David leads economic policy analyses and member surveys, co-chairing industry working groups focused on aviation regulations and air transport demand. Prior to this role, David held various positions at United Airlines from 1999 to 2003, including Senior Staff Specialist in Revenue Management and Regional Manager for Marketing & Planning, where successful inventory strategies and marketing plans contributed to significant revenue growth. David's earlier career includes project management at Global Aviation Associates, specializing in economics and regulatory consulting, and a research analyst role at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Asian Studies/International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Dartmouth College.
