Daria Stepanova serves as the Chief Executive Officer at AIRMO since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in aerospace and technology. Previously, Daria held multiple roles at German Orbital Systems from October 2016 to March 2023, including Chief Technology Officer, Senior Aerospace Engineer, and Development Engineer. Daria co-founded Not Just A Jewel and worked as a franchisee at Claustrophobia. Early career experiences include engineering positions at Sputnix and a laboratory assistant role at R&D SM2 BMSTU. Daria's educational background encompasses a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control Systems from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, multiple Master's degrees in fields such as Mathematical Modelling, Electrical Engineering, and Space System Management, and participation in the Space Studies Program at the International Space University.

AIRMO
AIRMO is working on the intersection of climate tech and space, developing a novel solution for emissions measurement. Our goal is to set a standard for continuous, global and near-real time greenhouse gas emissions measurement using small satellite constellation and novel LiDAR technology. We have developed a micro-LiDAR solution to complement spectrometer-based measurements to significantly improve the accuracy and sensitivity of CO2 and CH4 measurements and are currently working on the product development. We are a VC and European Space Agency backed startup with the goal to become the global leader in emissions monitoring.
