Scott Jacobs

Scott Jacobs has an extensive background in air traffic management (ATM) and engineering, currently serving at Airservices Australia in various leadership roles, including ATM and Tower Systems Design Assurance and Remote Tower Head of Engineering since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior ATM Expert at Isavia ANS and in multiple leadership positions at MITRE, where responsibilities encompassed establishing the MITRE Asia Pacific Singapore Lab and providing technical expertise for the Air Force Flight Standards Agency. Scott's earlier roles include Head of Product Development at Tern Systems and Software Development Manager at Planning Systems Inc., having developed advanced ATM systems and led numerous projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Jacob's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, a certificate in ICAO Aviation System Block Upgrade from the Singapore Aviation Academy, and training in project management from The Learning Tree.
