Niko Roberts is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Portugal Country Lead at Airtasker since June 2018, Niko oversees a remote team focused on enhancing the platform's core user experience and modernizing its architecture. Niko's career at Airtasker began as a Staff Software Engineer, advancing to roles such as Tech Lead and Director of Engineering, emphasizing international expansion and SEO. Previously, Niko co-founded Eventfuel.io, led a team as a Software Engineering Manager at Apple, and held advisory positions in multiple organizations such as Roster Right. Niko holds a Bachelor's degree in Computing and Business from the University of Tasmania and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, complemented by a commitment to mentoring women entering the tech industry.
