Ian Baker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ian began their career in 1988 as a System Administrator at The Irish Times Newspaper, where they worked for over two decades. In 2010, they joined SSE Renewables as an Assistant Credit Manager before moving to SSE Airtricity in 2015. At SSE Airtricity, Ian held various roles including Credit Manager, Domestic Collections Manager, Director of Operations & Customer Experience (Interim), and Head of Home Energy Customer Operations. Currently, Ian serves as a Board Member at AsIAm - Ireland's National Autism Charity since February 2023.
Ian Baker received a Diploma in Credit Management from the Irish Institute of Credit Management from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from Ashfield College in 2006. In 2016, they also attended Dublin, although no degree or field of study is specified.
