Pierce Wise

Pierce Wise is the current General Director at AISB. Pierce has also been the Vice Principal and Head of Secondary School at Yew Chung International School of Qingdao from April 2018 to August 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of English and IB DP Coordinator at Yew Chung International School from August 2014 to April 2018. From July 2012 to July 2014, they were a teacher of English at Northlands. From January 2008 to December 2011, they were the Head of Film Studies and an English teacher at St George's College. From August 2004 to July 2007, they were an English Language and Literature teacher at Abdulrahman Kanoo International School. Prior to that, they were a Loss Assessor at Mercer from December 1999 to December 2002, and Production Editor at Ian Allan Publishing Ltd from November 1998 to December 1999.

Pierce Wise has a Master of Science (MSc) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Leicester, a PGCE in English teaching (secondary) from the University of Plymouth, and a BA (Hons) in English (with Film) from the University of Southampton.
