Giambattista Pisasale has a diverse work experience spanning various companies. Giambattista started their career as a Software Programmer at Accenture in 2006 and later worked as an IT Consultant at Value Team from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they joined Deutsche Bank as a Senior Developer, where they focused on online banking maintenance and new developments. Giambattista also provided consultancy on phishing prevention and SSL certificate management. From 2010 to 2011, Pisasale worked at WebScience srl as a Middleware Analyst and Software Architect. During this time, they designed and implemented customized solutions for high availability portals and ETL financial data management. In 2007, Pisasale joined Insolaria as CTO and played a key role in managing the IT division. Giambattista worked on data processing in the home banking sector and led projects involving technologies like SpringMVC, SpringBatch, and IBM Web Portal 8. Currently, Pisasale holds the position of CTO at AITHO, where they have been since 2016.

Giambattista Pisasale started their education journey in 2000 when they enrolled at the Università di Catania. Giambattista pursued a degree in Informatica and successfully completed their studies in 2006. After a few years, in 2014, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Tecnologie Cloud e OpenSource per la Pubblica Amministrazione from the same institution, Università di Catania. Giambattista completed this program in 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Giambattista also obtained a certification as a Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack from Red Hat in September 2015.
