Asaf Shamli

Asaf Shamli is an accomplished technology professional with significant experience in backend development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Backend Team Leader at AIVF since September 2023, Asaf previously held multiple roles at Fundbox from May 2021 to September 2023, including Engineering Manager, where the focus was on team growth and development, as well as Engineering Onboarding Manager, overseeing the onboarding processes for new engineers. Asaf's career also includes a tenure at Zerto as Squad Leader, responsible for the design and delivery of a complex cloud product, and earlier positions in software development roles, utilizing languages such as C# and Python at Zerto and ADVA Optical Networking. Asaf holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Holon Institute of Technology.
