Annegret Niesche has held various roles in their work experience. Annegret began their career in 2008 as a Student Assistant at TU Berlin, specializing in Medical Technology. In 2009, they worked as an Intern in Basic Development at Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Student Worker in the Accessories & Consumables department of Dräger Medical GmbH.

In 2011, Annegret joined the Helmholtz-Institute at RWTH Aachen und Universitätsklinikum Aachen, where they worked as a Research Associate until 2017. Annegret then transitioned to the role of Visiting Scientist at the same institution until 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, they worked at ImProvia Germany GmbH as a Development Engineer.

Currently, Annegret serves as a System Engineer at AIXTRON SE since June 2022.

Annegret Niesche began their education in 2004 at the Universität Rostock, where they pursued a Vordiplom degree in Maschinenbau. Annegret studied there for the next two years, until 2006. Subsequently, they attended the Technische Universität Berlin from 2006 to 2011, where they completed their studies and earned a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Maschinenbau specializing in Medizintechnik.
