Ingo Hassert has extensive work experience in the field of auditing, tax consulting, and consulting for companies. Since 2001, they have been a self-employed auditor and tax consultant, focusing on annual financial statement audits and advising businesses. Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo is also a member of a network organization consisting of auditors, tax consultants, and lawyers.

In addition to their self-employment, Hassert has held various roles in other organizations. Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo has served as a certified First-Level Controller for the use of funds from European Structural Funds at AIXTRON SE since 2019. Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo has also been a Cover Pool Auditor for the global covered bond business at Santander Deutschland since 2016.

Hassert has held positions in the supervisory boards of two companies. Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo was a member of the supervisory board of the publicly traded BLIRT S.A. in Poland since 2022, appointed by the main shareholder QIAGEN N. V. Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo was also a member of the supervisory board of the publicly traded MyHammer Holding AG in Germany from 2011 to 2022. With the delisting of MyHammer Holding AG in mid-2022, the establishment of a supervisory board was no longer legally required.

Additionally, Hassert has been a partner at Transfer Partners Unternehmensgruppe since 2008 and a member of the advisory board of Alacris Theranostics GmbH in Germany from 2012 to 2015, representing shareholder QIAGEN N. V.

Before becoming self-employed, Hassert worked as a Senior Audit Manager at ARTHUR ANDERSEN Wirtschaftsprüfungs- u. Steuerberatungsgesellschaft, now ERNST & YOUNG WPG, from 1992 to 2000.

Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo Hassert holds a Master's degree in General Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Cologne. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified First-Level Controller for the use of EU funds from the European Structural Funds, which they received from the OFD Karlsruhe - Stabsstelle EU Finanzkontrolle in July 2019. Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo also holds certifications as a Wirtschaftsprüfer (Auditor) from the Wirtschaftsministerium NRW, obtained in 1999, and as a Steuerberater (Tax Advisor) from the Finanzministerium NRW, obtained in 1997.
