Markus Waschk has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Diploma Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich until May 2012. Markus then continued their education at the same institution, serving as a PHD Student from December 2012 to June 2017. Following this, they held the position of Postdoc from July 2017 to July 2018. In 2018, Markus joined Salt and Pepper Technology GmbH Co.KG as a Technology Consultant and Process Engineer in the CVD SiC department, where they worked until January 2019. From February 2019 to December 2019, they served as a Process Engineer in the CVD SiC department at AIXTRON SE. Subsequently, Markus transitioned to the role of Process Engineer HEMT Application, focusing on MOCVD process on Aixtron G5 systems for MicroLED at AIXTRON SE from January 2020 to February 2023. Currently, Markus is working as a Technical Application Manager SiC at AIXTRON SE, starting from February 2023.
Markus Waschk pursued their education in the field of Physics. From 2005 to 2012, they attended RWTH Aachen University, where they obtained a Diploma degree. Later, they continued their studies at the same university from 2012 to 2017, earning a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics.
