Simon Schiwek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Simon is currently serving as an Aufsichtsratsmitglied (Kuratorium) at THIELE GmbH & Co. KG since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AIXTRON SE as a Senior Product Manager - Software starting from November 2020.
From 2016 to 2020, Simon worked at KEX Knowledge Exchange AG where they held various positions including Technology Manager (Digitalisierung), Project Manager, and Senior Technology Consultant.
Before that, they worked as a PHD Scholar at Lam Research from April 2012 to December 2015. Simon also worked as a Diploma Student at Fraunhofer-Institut für Physikalische Messtechnik IPM from April 2011 to April 2012 and as an Intern at Infineon Technologies from October 2009 to January 2010.
Simon Schiwek has a degree in Technische Physik/Angewandte Physik from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Simon also holds a Ph.D. in Physik from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
