Hirokazu Ueno

Hirokazu Ueno serves as the Raw Material Group Procurement Tower Manager at Ajinomoto Co., Inc. since April 2018, after holding key roles including Intellectual Property Analyst in the Intellectual Property Strategy Group and Principal Research Scientist in the Bio-Functional Molecular Chemistry Group. Previous experience includes a Project Researcher position at The Industry-Academia Collaboration Initiative Nonprofit Organization, focusing on business model analysis, and a series of research scientist roles at Ajinomoto Pharmaceuticals Co., LTD. and Pfizer Inc., where Ueno worked on drug discovery projects in various therapeutic areas. Ueno holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Management at Globis University and dual master's and bachelor's degrees in organic chemistry from Tohoku University. Additional education includes a brief study at the University of Adelaide and Cuernavaca Language School.
