Alaíde Baptista

Alaíde Baptista serves as the Senior Director of Global Technology Procurement at Akamai Technologies since May 2019, overseeing Global Technology Procurement, Advisory Services, Global IT Logistics, and Global Purchasing Operations. Previously, Alaíde held various roles at Philips from December 2013 to May 2019, culminating in the role of Global Senior Category Manager for IT Infrastructure, where significant savings initiatives were implemented. Earlier experience at Santander Group included strategic sourcing positions, leading projects that generated substantial savings and operational efficiencies across multiple business units. Alaíde holds a Master of Liberal Arts in General Management from Harvard University, an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
