Aliyah Torrance

Aliyah Torrance is an experienced professional in talent development and acquisition, currently serving as the Director of Global Talent Development and the Director of Talent Acquisition at Akamai Technologies since December 2007. Torrance leads a team of 30, focusing on experienced recruitment, global executive search, and emerging talent. Previously, Torrance held the position of Executive Recruitment Leader, where a global internal executive recruitment practice was built and led. As an HR Business Partner, Torrance developed and executed people strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and served as a trusted advisor to leadership in various departments. Earlier career roles included Senior Lead Recruiter at Akamai, Recruiting Partner at Biogen Idec, and Technical Recruiter at Keane. Aliyah Torrance holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Emmanuel College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
