Gal Meiri

Gal Meiri is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity research and team leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Security Research Team Lead at Akamai Technologies since August 2020, Gal previously led the Security Research Team at IBM within Trusteer's Pinpoint Detect division, focusing on Javascript and browser security investigations. Gal has developed innovative detection methods, conducted research on financial malware, and created internal automation systems and research tools. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel and a background in the Israel Defense Forces as a Malware Researcher and Security Analyst, Gal brings a robust skill set in security research and client communication to the cybersecurity landscape.
