Kaan Onarlioglu

Kaan Onarlioglu is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as Principal Security Architect at Akamai Technologies since July 2017, following a progression through various security architect roles within the company. Concurrently, Kaan has been a part-time faculty member and research lead at Northeastern University since January 2018. Previous positions include Senior Systems Security Researcher & Engineer at Philips and several research roles at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. Kaan's academic background includes a PhD in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity from Northeastern University, along with both an MS and BS in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University. Kaan has also contributed to research efforts at EURECOM and MIKES and gained initial experience as a software engineering intern at Aselsan.
