Liz Doherty

Liz Doherty is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience at Akamai Technologies since June 2007, where roles have included Senior Director & Associate General Counsel and Chief Counsel for Global Strategic Sales. Prior to Akamai, Liz worked as an Associate at Bingham McCutchen from 2001 to 2007. Liz has contributed to various organizations, serving as a Board Member for GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders from May 2018 to December 2021 and as Co-Vice Chair & Commissioner for the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth in 2012. Liz holds a J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy from Tufts University, along with completing law courses at Leiden University.
