Zachary McPherson

Zachary McPherson is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in construction inspection and engineering, having held significant roles at various organizations. Currently serving as a Construction Inspector at the Seattle Department of Transportation since March 2024, Zachary oversees field work and quality control checks. Previously, Zachary worked as a Construction Engineer for Akana and as a Construction Inspector at Sound Transit, managing and supervising light rail projects. With roles at Seattle Department of Transportation and the Port of Seattle, responsibilities included inspection management and resident engineering for multiple construction projects. Zachary's career has also included foundational engineering experience with Kiewit and expertise in customer service and administrative roles in other sectors. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Civil Engineering from Bellevue College.
