David Speirs is a seasoned Mechanical Designer with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at AKD Softwoods since July 2018. Prior roles include Design Drafter - Water at Aecom Australia, Senior Designer at Aurecon, and Piping/Mechanical Designer (Contractor) at BP, where responsibilities encompassed 2D and 3D design, drafting, and the creation of P&ID’s and Isometrics. David’s foundational experience includes work with Diamond Key International Pty. Ltd. and an earlier stint at Aurecon, producing drawings for notable clients such as Shell and New Zealand Oil Services Limited. Proficient in AutoCAD, Cadworx Plant, and Cadworx P&ID, David Speirs demonstrates a strong technical background in mechanical and piping design.
