Sylvia Brustad

Sylvia Brustad is an experienced leader in both corporate and governmental roles. Since 2013, Brustad has served as the Director of Aker Kværner Holding AS within Aker ASA. Prior to this, Brustad was the Governor of Hedmark from 2010 to 2013 and served as Minister of Trade and Industry from 2008 to 2009. Brustad was a member of the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget) from 1989 to 2009, during which time important ministerial positions were held, including Minister of Health and Care Services from 2005 to 2008, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development in 2000-2001, and Minister of Children and Family Affairs from 1996 to 1997.
