Rayhan Alam

Rayhan Alam's work experience begins in 2015 as a Shop Assistant at Teksave, where they greeted customers, managed stock levels, and repaired mobile phone LCDs. In 2016, they worked as a Catering Chef at Barakah Foods, focusing on customer satisfaction, handling food orders under pressure, and remembering orders. From 2017 to 2018, Rayhan was a Traffic Management Operative at Sep Events, demonstrating skills such as clear communication, teamwork, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment. In 2019, they joined Infor as a Technical Support Analyst Associate, providing application and technical support to customers and managing internal environments. Rayhan continued in this role until 2022, with responsibilities extended to acting as a primary support liaison between the company and customers. In 2022, Rayhan became a DevOps Platform Engineer at Capgemini, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they are employed at Aker Systems as a DevOps Engineer.

Rayhan Alam attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer and Network Technology, with a focus on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Prior to that, they studied at Xaverian Sixth Form College from 2013 to 2015, obtaining a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT. Alongside their formal education, Rayhan also obtained several certifications, including CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in October 2022, AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in June 2022. Rayhan is also working towards earning a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.
