Adam Gazzaley

Adam Gazzaley is a Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Physiology at UCSF, where Adam has served since July 2005, and currently holds the position of Executive Director at Neuroscape, a translational neuroscience center focused on improving brain function through technology and research. Gazzaley is also the Co-Founder and Chief Science Advisor of Akili Interactive Labs, working on clinically-validated cognitive therapeutics and diagnostics designed to resemble high-quality video games. In addition, Gazzaley is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of JAZZ Venture Partners, which invests in technologies aimed at enhancing human performance. Gazzaley co-founded Sensync and has an extensive educational background including an MD and PhD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, complemented by residency training in Neurology and postdoctoral work in Cognitive Neuroscience.
