Alex Woo

Alex Woo is an experienced professional in the field of quality control, currently serving as the Associate Director of Quality Control at Akorn, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Associate Director of Quality Control at Piramal Pharma Solutions from September 2017 to December 2019. Alex's career also includes significant roles at Coldstream Laboratories, Inc., where responsibilities included Analytical Quality Control Manager, Analytical Quality Control Supervisor, and Senior Analytical Scientist. Previous experience also includes a managerial role at Oakwood Laboratories and a position as Scientist III at Boehringer Ingelheim - Roxane Laboratories. Alex obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from The University of Akron between January 1991 and January 1999.
