Previously he served as CEO & Member of the Board of Commissioners of Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (2015-2020). Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank (2010-2015). Senior Economic Adviser to British Ambassador Sir Robin Christopher, Jakarta (1998-2000) and has held key positions in commercial banks in Indonesia and Singapore. Fauzi started his career as an analyst at the Harvard Institute of International Development, Ministry of Finance of Indonesia in 1991.

Its industrial estate segment includes its investment in Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE), an integrated industial estate in Gresik, Indonesia.
