Thilo Stier has a strong background in sales and innovation. Thilo started their career as the Head of Project Engineering at Schulman from January 2001 to December 2003. Thilo then worked as the Manager of Technical Customer Service at Schulman from November 2003 to December 2006. Thilo transitioned to A. Schulman in 1997 as an Innovation Manager, working in that role until 2009. Thilo returned to A. Schulman in January 2007, this time as the Innovation Manager until September 2012. Finally, Thilo joined AKRO-Plastic GmbH in October 2012 as the Director of Sales and Innovation, where they are currently employed.
Thilo Stier completed their Vordiplom in Maschinenbau from Paderborn University between 1990 and 1992. Thilo then pursued a Master's degree in plastic processing and IKV from RWTH Aachen University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997.

Engineering thermoplastics and masterbatches from Feddersen Group-division AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH and its branch AF-COLOR are developed and produced in Niederzissen, Germany. In 2014, bioplastics were added to the portfolio, and the BIO-FED branch was established in Cologne. Over the past 30 years, the company has enjoyed steady growth and today is a source of comprehensive expertise in the area of plastics compounding, with an annual global production capacity more than 165,000 tons. The company specializes in the processing of standard plastics and engineering plastics. Our compounds are made in state of the art processes on Feddem extruders made by our sister company. We do toll manufacturing for Engineering Plastics. AKRO-PLASTIC operates further production sites in China and in Brazil.
