Stephanie Miner is an experienced professional in animal behavior and husbandry, currently serving as the Behavioral Husbandry Manager at Akron Zoo since May 2013. Miner’s career includes a decade-long tenure at Gap Inc./Gap, where various roles culminated in over two years of management, focusing on training and customer service excellence. Previous experience at The Toledo Zoo encompasses positions as a Part Time Temporary Primate/Small Mammal Keeper, Department Volunteer, and Enrichment Coordinator, where responsibilities ranged from animal care and monitoring to program development and volunteer coordination. Stephanie holds a Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Animal Behavior and Conservation from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from St. Lawrence University.
