Sam Fortenbaugh

Sam Fortenbaugh is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Analyst in Private Equity Co-Investments at Aksia since June 2025. Prior to this role, Sam worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citizens JMP Securities, LLC from May 2023 to June 2025, and gained initial experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at BTIG in mid-2022. Early in the career, Sam completed an internship at SQN Investors in the summer of 2021. Sam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Richmond, and also studied at Esade in Barcelona during a portion of academic training. Sam's foundational education was completed at Menlo School from 2012 to 2019.
