A seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in various sectors including financial services, commercial banks, asset management companies, manufacturing and energy.
In his role, Mr. Anwar is heading the Finance Department working closely with Operations and assisting in evaluating strategic priorities of Al Ansari Exchange. His area of expertise is in cost saving / operational excellence strategies, finance transformation, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, business performance and analysis, project feasibilities, diagnostic business reviews, systems implementation, dispute resolution and tax.
Prior to joining Al Ansari Exchange, Mr. Anwar held several key positions at Mattex Group, Majid Al Futtaim, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. With a proven track record in the UAE, KSA and Pakistan markets, he plays an instrumental role in ensuring the success of our strategic and financial initiatives.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan since 1997.
