Raman Garg has a diverse range of work experience. Raman started their career in 2016 as the General Manager at Falcon Investments LLC, where they were responsible for leading investments and managing the RAK Sovereign Family Office. In the same year, they also took on the role of Group Chief Financial Officer at Al Hamra, overseeing various business entities and responsibilities such as M&A, finance, and strategic planning.
In 2020, Raman became a Board Member at Julphar, where they served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Raman was also previously the Chairman of the Executive Committee, guiding the company's strategy and growth plans. Additionally, they became a Board Member at Planet Pharmacies LLC, RAK Packaging, and RAKEEN.
In 2022, Raman added several more Board Member roles to their portfolio, including Al Khaleej Investment PJSC, Falcon Technologies International LLC, Arc, RAKEEN, and RAK Poultry & Feeding Co. Raman also assumed the role of General Manager at RAK Poultry & Feeding Co.
Throughout their career, Raman has demonstrated expertise in finance, investment management, strategic planning, and corporate governance.
Raman Garg started their education at Don Bosco School, where they attended from 1975 to 1985. After completing their schooling, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors degree at St. Xavier's College, from 1987 to 1990. Following this, they enrolled in the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, where they studied Cost Accountancy from 1988 to 1991. Concurrently, they also attended The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, specializing in Company Secretary and Law from 1989 to 1992. Lastly, they completed their education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy, from 1990 to 1993.
