Malik Sohail Farooq

Malik Sohail Farooq is a seasoned Senior Broadcast IT Engineer at Al Jazeera Media Network since June 1996, specializing in ensuring uninterrupted on-air operations through the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of broadcast equipment and systems, including advanced multimedia technology. Prior to this role, Malik served as a Senior Technical Consultant at Blue Lagoon Engineering from 2008 to 2013 and as a Broadcast Engineer at Qatar TV from September 1996 to November 1997, where expertise in handling various maintenance test equipment was developed. Malik holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peshawar, acquired between 1993 and 1997.
