Masood Almajedi possesses extensive experience in compliance and legal affairs, currently serving as Senior Management at Al Masraf since May 2019, where significant improvements to the AML & Compliance culture and framework were achieved. Prior to this role, Masood held the position of Group Chief Compliance Officer at Commercial Bank of Dubai from January 2005 to April 2019, overseeing compliance with UAE Central Bank laws and coordinating with legal advisors. From July 1992 to January 2005, Masood was Head of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Public Work, providing legal guidance on contracts and disputes related to various public projects. Academically, Masood holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Constitutional Law from Dubai Police Academy and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Law & Islamic Legislation from United Arab Emirates University.
