Derrick Carr

Derrick Carr is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in recruitment and organizational management. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Alabama State University, Derrick has previously held positions including Human Resources Consultant at the Southern Poverty Law Center and Human Resources Manager for Global and Domestic Recruitment at Catholic Relief Services. Additionally, Derrick has served as Vice President & Human Resources Group Manager at East West Bank and Manager of Staffing at the California State Automobile Association (AAA). Derrick holds a Master's of Science in Urban Studies/Human Resources from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's of Science in Economics/Human Resources from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
