Li Zhang

Li Zhang currently serves as the Head of AI at Alaffia Health, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Li Zhang was the Senior Director of AI and Director of AI at Covera Health from December 2020 to August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Principal Scientist in Computer Vision Research at AiCure and Senior Staff Scientist/Key Expert at Siemens, where Li Zhang was recognized with the Extraordinary Award in 2009 and the Outstanding Award in 2008. Earlier in the career, Li Zhang worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Iowa and held a temporary technical position at Siemens. Li Zhang holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
