Alexander Young

Alexander Young is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in hardware engineering and embedded systems. Currently serving as a Senior Device Engineer at Alarm.com since June 2020, Alexander has previously held the role of Device Engineer II within the same company. Prior experience includes positions at The Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory as a Research and Development Engineer, and Positive Science as an Embedded Electronics & Firmware Engineer. Additional roles include Systems Engineer Intern at Prism Energy, Energy Products Systems Engineering Intern at Tesla Motors, EID ITLP Intern at General Electric, and Web Development Intern at Church & Dwight, Co., Inc. Alexander holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering Technology and has pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
