Nathan Coats

Nathan Coats is an experienced aviation professional with a focus on line maintenance and aircraft safety. Currently serving as the Regional Manager of Line Maintenance at Alaska Airlines since May 2013, Nathan leads a team dedicated to ensuring fleet reliability and on-time performance. Previous roles at Alaska Airlines include Interim Manager and Supervisor in Line Maintenance, emphasizing safety, compliance, and resource optimization. Nathan has a solid technical foundation, having worked as a Senior Airframe Vendor Maintenance Partner and Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician, primarily dealing with Boeing 737 aircraft. Prior to Alaska Airlines, Nathan gained valuable experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at FEAM Maintenance/Engineering and Air Wisconsin Airlines. Nathan holds an Associate degree in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Redstone College.
