Rafi Khandaker

Rafi Khandaker is a Clinical Trials Specialist in the Department of Anesthesiology at Montefiore Health System since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Research Assistant at Clinilabs, where responsibilities encompassed assisting in clinical trials related to various medical conditions and maintaining compliance. Rafi also held a position as a Teaching Assistant for Biochemistry I at Hunter College and worked as an Emergency Department Scribe at ScribeAmerica, documenting patient histories and coordinating laboratory results. As a College Access Advisor with New York Edge, Rafi mentored middle school students through their academic journeys. Additionally, Rafi participated as a Fellow in the America Needs You program and managed high school tutoring programs at Khan's Tutorial. Earlier experience includes a team lead role at Sandeep Herbal Ayurvedic, focusing on Naturopathic medicine and patient care. Rafi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York.
