Stephen Lacroix

Stephen Lacroix currently serves as the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister and Managing Director of the Alberta Emergency Management Agency within the Government of Alberta since December 2020, following a role as the Executive Lead for the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force. Prior to joining the Government of Alberta, Stephen Lacroix held various leadership positions in the Canadian Armed Forces, including Commander of the 3rd Canadian Division Support Group and Director General at the Inter American Defense Board. Stephen Lacroix's military experience also encompasses roles as Special Advisor to the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff and Commanding Officer of the 12e Régiment blindé du Canada. Educationally, Stephen Lacroix holds a Master's degree in Defence Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Military Arts and Science from the Royal Military College of Canada.
