John Henry Wells

John Henry Wells is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in food safety, quality assurance, and technical consulting. Currently serving as Senior Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Albertsons Companies since 2010, John Henry oversees product development practices and regulatory compliance. In addition, John Henry is the Head of Science at Food Plus Technology, focusing on equipping teams with food safety expertise. Previous roles include Technical Business Advisor for the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network, where John Henry supported over 350 food entrepreneurs, and Superintendent and Professor at Oregon State University, managing a significant team and ensuring safety protocols. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Engineering in Food Process Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering, both from the University of California, Davis.
