Anzil Azeez has a strong background in project coordination and quality control in the shipbuilding industry. Anzil began their career at Drydocks World - Dubai in 2007 as a Quality Control Engineer, where they assisted in quality planning and performed inspections to ensure compliance with construction codes and project specifications. In 2008, Anzil Azeez joined Albwardy Damen as a Quality Compliance Engineer, responsible for creating quality plans, documenting performance tests, and ensuring compliance with certification bodies. Over time, they progressed to the role of Project Coordinator, advising on production activities, project planning, and cost reduction. Anzil was promoted to Senior Project Coordinator in 2020 and currently holds the position of Head of Project Coordination since April 2022 at Albwardy Damen. Albwardy Marine Engineering was founded back in 1978 and has been a joint venture with Damen Shipyards Group since 2008. In 2014 the official opening of Damen Shipyards Sharjah took place. Albwardy Damen has facilities in three UAE locations: Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah. In addition to shipbuilding and repair, the company also provides afloat repairs and diving services.
