ALCEN works in four domains: Defence & Security, Energy, Medical, Aeronautics. Its ambition is to establish a constant innovation policy in these domains, primarily applied to its own products and services. To succeed in this, it has developed a particularly extensive in-house technology base. It works in close collaboration with research centers. It systematically transfers technological breakthroughs and experience feedbacks from one domain to the others. It develops its technologies in specialist laboratories set up around a limited number of top-level experts. In this way, ALCEN is constructing an original integrated technological model that benefits from exceptional productivity.
