Jonathan Speed

Jonathan Speed has a long history of work experience in the fields of venture capital, entrepreneurship, and advising. In 2019, they began working as a Venture Partner with Waterman Ventures, a community of Brown University alumni investors, entrepreneurs, and innovation enthusiasts. Jonathan also began working as an Adviser with Swytchback and Lolly that same year. In 2020, they founded 1790 Media and began working as an Adviser with Socrates Learning Platform. In 2021, they became Managing Director of Bay Scholars and Entrepreneur in Residence of NEC X Inc. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Coach with Alchemist Accelerator and in 2023, they became an Adviser (CFO & CFO) with OpportunityCRE.

Jonathan Speed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brown University and a Master of Arts in Military History from Norwich University.
