Amy Friers is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Compliance Monitoring for Global Integrity & Compliance at Alcon since June 2022, Friers previously held various leadership roles at MicroPort Orthopedics, including Senior Director of Compliance and Privacy, Deputy Compliance Officer, and Director of Compliance Auditing and Monitoring from January 2014 to June 2022. Friers began a career at Wright Medical Technology as Sr. Manager of Accounting & Internal Control from January 2006 to January 2014. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University, and a Master of Science in Accounting from Strayer University.
