Jessica Mooney

Jessica Mooney is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in design control and new product development within the medical device industry, specifically at Alcon since January 2014. Progressing through various roles from Process Engineer to Director of Design Control for IOL and Contact Lens development, Jessica has contributed significantly to innovative projects and problem-solving initiatives. Prior experience includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, where research focused on processing thin films with high hardness and oxidation resistance, as well as internships at Alcon Laboratories addressing optical testing and quality engineering. Educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
