Scott Bukosky

Scott Bukosky, PhD, is a Senior Scientist II at Alcon since September 2022, with extensive experience in chemical engineering and research. Previously, Bukosky served as an NRC Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Air Force Research Laboratory, focusing on advanced research applications from November 2019 to August 2022. Prior to that, Bukosky was a Livermore Graduate Scholar at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where innovative experimental techniques were developed for characterizing inter-particle dynamics in electrophoretic deposition systems. Additionally, experience includes engineering internships at DuPont, emphasizing polymer solutions and manufacturing enhancements, as well as academic research at the University of California, Davis, exploring electrohydrodynamic fluid flows in colloidal systems. Bukosky holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
