Alex Williams has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, they worked at BBI Healthcare as Sales & Marketing Support, then as a Marketing Assistant, and later as a Junior Brand Manager. In 2013, they joined Daydream Education as a Product Marketing Executive. The following year, they worked at The Royal Mint as a Product Executive. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at GoCompare as a Product Executive and then as a Product Manager. In 2018, they worked as a Product Owner (Contractor) at the Office for National Statistics. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at TrakCel as a Product Owner and then as a Product Manager. Currently, since 2021, they are working at Alcumus as the UK Product Lead.
Alex Williams has a diverse education history, with a focus on project management, leadership and management, and marketing. In 2016, Alex completed the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO 1) program at Scrum.org. In 2014, they obtained an ILM Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management from TSW, as well as a PRINCE2 certification in Project Management from The University of South Wales (through TSW). In 2011-2012, Alex earned a Professional Certificate in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. They also hold additional certifications in PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner from the University of South Wales and a Scrum.org Agile Product Owner Certification.
