Angela Daum

Angela Daum is currently serving as Regulatory Counsel at ALDI USA since February 2023. Previously, a diverse career includes roles such as Food Technologist and Regulatory Advisor, where responsibilities encompassed training new regulatory managers and guiding compliance issues, as well as leading product development for ready-to-eat (RTE) confectionery. Angela has also held positions as Senior Manager of Food Regulatory Compliance and Food Engineer, focusing on regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions including the US, Canada, the EU, and Australia. Other experiences include research and development in food microbiology, tutoring, and product development internships with well-known food companies. Angela's educational background consists of a Juris Doctor in Intellectual Property Law, a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Food Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
