Dr. Michael Lackner

Dr. Michael Lackner is a Technology Project Manager at ALDI Nord since October 2022, specializing in generative AI to enhance efficiency and innovation through process automation and cost reduction. Prior to this role, Dr. Lackner served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universität Duisburg-Essen from November 2015 to October 2022, focusing on water electrolysis and the establishment of a spectroscopy laboratory. Dr. Lackner completed a doctorate at Universität Duisburg-Essen, where the doctoral thesis centered on Time-Resolved 2-Color Vibrational Sum Frequency Spectroscopy, contributing to the CRC1242 project sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Visiting Scientist at Northwestern University, emphasizing research in physical chemistry and spectroscopy.
